What is Kundalini Yoga & Meditation?

As taught by Yogi Bhajan, Kundalini Yoga & Meditation is a technology of awareness. It uses kriyas (pronounced “cree’-ahs”)– an exercise, or series of exercises using postures (asana), breath (pranayam) and sound (mantra) –to effect positive change.

A kriya may be long or short, vigorous or more reflective, and the effects could be immediate or at one’s readiness. Kundalini yoga develops flexibility, strength, endurance, focus, awareness, insight and calm. It works to achieve a strong and balanced glandular and nervous system. It develops and strengthens us from the core.

It recalibrates our entire being. It expands our capacity to truly inhale, to take in life and also to exhale and let go of those things that no longer serve us. It develops our ability to be still so that we may connect with our higher Self -- it is the true meaning of finding oneself. It is within this realm that a shift occurs, opening up the awareness and receptivity channels for true prosperity. And through this blessing, we can begin to attract and maintain wealth, manage stress, lose weight, have intimacy, and be Happy, Healthy and Holy!
